As we stand before some of the most critical times in the history of our nation, it is extremely important to be in prayer for Haiti.

The issues that are before us, both abroad with immigration becoming an important factor and in the motherland itself, are monumental. Three of them are: 1) the poverty that had spread throughout the country. 2) The insecurity mainly caused by poverty and unemployment. 3) The influence of the Devil on the country through a cultural and traditional "element" called voodoo. Many people are sensing that if those problems are solved, Haiti will experience an extraordinary relief that will help the leaders working on other important problems.

Here at Hope-Ministry.net, Clubdesfans.com and Bonlevanjil.com, we’re making a commitment to pray for righteous leadership to be raised up—leaders who will seek God’s wisdom, protection, and direction as we head into an uncertain future. We would like to ask you to join us in consistently praying for our nation. The need for this can be seen in every sector of our society as the biblical principles and moral values are relegated to the back seat.

Yet regardless of this disturbing trend, we can take heart in the knowledge that God hears and responds to the earnest cries of His people. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God promises, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (NIV)

We believe it is imperative for us to call upon God for His will to be accomplished in the future of our nation. When we pray, God promises He will answer us, He will be with us and help us (Psalm 91:15). We can be comforted by the fact that God is the source of all wisdom, power and protection.

We, as a nation, and our churches can make a difference as we stand together in prayer for righteous leadership to be established in our nation.

Together we can work toward a brighter tomorrow.

H.O.P.E. actually stands for Haitian-American Organization for Progress and Evangelization. Our ultimate goal is to reach out those in spiritual and economic needs through the Gospel of our Savior Jesus-Christ. We actually are looking forward to help 200 children from Bossa (Baraderes) in the SouthWest of Haiti to go to school and eat, at least, a meal a day. We created a music program that started in October 2007 in Solon (St Louis du Sud) in the South of Haiti with almost 60 students. They need instruments such as guitars, drums, keyboards, violins, etc. We not only evangelize the people but we also want to contribute to their progress.
